Les tribunes que nous voyons se multiplier dans la presse anti-française de Bolloré ne sont pas de simples déjections de la liberté d’expression, mais une trahison au sens le plus strict du terme : de celle qui arme le bras de ceux qui tueront nos enfants demain.

Une majorité du Parlement européen demande son activation, mais rien n’a été fait. Cette inaction est coupable et illustre, une fois de plus, la posture de soumission de l’Union européenne vis‑à‑vis de l’administration américaine. 🇺🇸

• José Antonio Kast : Fan de Pinochet, opposé à l'avortement, au mariage homosexuel et à l'adoption par couples de même sexe, il a été élu il y a peu à la présidence du Chili. Jordan Bardella assume-t-il ces alliés? Et, pour couronner le tout, l'organisation de cet événement est bien évidemment financée par des fonds publics européens.

On television, Jordan Bardella denies being Donald Trump's ally. However, this Tuesday in Brussels, he and his political group are organizing a “transatlantic summit” with the worst of the US administration and the reactionary international community.
Some examples of guests:

• Kevin Roberts: Heads the most important MAGA think tank, the Heritage Foundation, and has made it his mission to institutionalize Trumpism: “We are in the midst of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it.”
• Sharon Slater: Head of a fundamentalist Christian lobby group, she has said that “homosexuality is a mental disorder derived from childhood trauma, and ‘conversion therapy’ can effectively eliminate same-sex attraction.”
• Santiago Abascal: Leader of the Vox party and Spanish masculinist, he has claimed that “gender violence does not exist” and that “macho violence does not exist.” He wants to abolish gender violence laws and compares homosexuality to bestiality.
• José Antonio Kast: A fan of Pinochet, opposed to abortion, same-sex marriage, and adoption by same-sex couples, he was recently elected president of Chile. Does Jordan Bardella support these allies? And, to top it all off, this event is, of course, funded by European public money.

The response wasn’t “yes” or “no.” Just a pivot to “security interests.” That ambiguity speaks volumes - and it’s deeply concerning… and disappointing to the majority of Americans as we do not support this administration nor their unlawful actions.

Les jours et les semaines qui viennent diront ce que nous sommes et ce que nous voulons être.

Plus que jamais, le combat pour une France forte dans une Europe libre et puissante continue.

Le juge Guillou et huit autres magistrats de la CPI ont été mis sous sanctions par les Etats-Unis pour une décision qui a déplu à Trump. Cela veut dire qu'il ne peut plus effectuer de paiement, faire des commandes en ligne ou réserver une chambre d'hôtel.

Mais ce qui lui arrive aujourd'hui pourrait arriver à n'importe lequel d'entre nous. Pourquoi ? Parce qu'on nous sommes dépendants sur absolument toutes nos infrastructures numériques et de paiement.

Au-delà de la situation gravissime du juge Guillou, cette situation illustre surtout la vulnérabilité de l'Union européenne et de ses citoyens vis-à-vis des Américains qui peuvent décider de couper le robinet de tous nos services, sur une décision unilatérale de Donald Trump.

Du jour au lendemain. Sans autre explication.

Il est donc urgent d'agir, non seulement pour régler cette situation mais aussi pour sortir de notre dépendance stratégique envers les US et autres puissantes étrangères. Cela passe par une politique industrielle, dans le domaine du numérique, dans le domaine des infrastructures de paiement. Cela passe aussi par la création de l'euro digital qui vous permettra d'être assuré de moyens de paiement souverains.

"The wait is almost over," Lagarde declares, emphasizing that this transition represents far more than a simple currency change. Bulgaria's euro adoption strengthens commercial exchanges, facilitates cross-border movement, and consolidates financial stability across Europe.

This accession crowns a rigorous multi-year process. After joining the European Exchange Rate Mechanism II in July 2020 alongside Croatia, Bulgaria demonstrated its capacity to meet all economic convergence criteria. On July 8, 2025, the EU Council adopted three final legislative acts authorizing euro introduction at an official conversion rate of 1.95583 lev per euro.

For Bulgaria, this transition brings substantial prosperity and economic security benefits. With 65% of exports destined for the EU and 45% for the eurozone, the country will eliminate remaining monetary barriers within the single market. Expanded access to European capital markets will reduce financing costs and provide greater stability for long-term investments. Rating agencies have already upgraded Bulgaria's sovereign rating in anticipation of these positive effects.

Beyond economic gains, eurozone membership grants Bulgaria a full voice within the ECB Governing Council. Bulgaria's National Bank Governor will now participate in decisions shaping the world's third-largest economy, transforming from passive follower to sovereign actor in European monetary policy.

Lagarde's video underscores her commitment to eurozone enlargement and her vision of a united, resilient Europe facing external shocks in an increasingly volatile world. The euro symbolizes solidarity, stability, and shared ambition for the continent.

For Bulgarian citizens and businesses, euro membership brings tangible benefits: simpler cross-border payments, easier travel within the eurozone, lower transaction costs, and stronger investor confidence. It deepens connections to Europe's core markets and provides households with the economic predictability needed to plan and invest in their futures.

Bulgaria's entry reflects a fundamental truth: integration creates strength. By pooling sovereignty in monetary policy, Europe has gained scale, efficiency, stability, and geopolitical relevance. The euro replaced fragmentation with predictability and internal competition with collective weight. Though imperfect, the monetary union proved essential—without it, Europe would be monetarily marginal today.

For Bulgaria, euro adoption signals institutional maturity 🇧🇬🇪🇺, fiscal discipline, and an unwavering commitment to European integration. It's more than a currency change; it's a statement of confidence in the future, transforming integration into opportunity and stability into growth.

If we are serious about an independent digital Europe (as we should be), we need to set boundaries.

So EU : it is time you shift all your accounts on the fediverse, an entity not belonging to a single company or individual.
